Mississippi Jeopardy
WRITTEN BY: TONY D. ANDERSON
Lord Lord tell me, where this road goes on?
Is this my destiny Lord, where did I go wrong?
Iâm searchinâ high, sometimes Iâm searchinâ low
Is this my future Lord, where did my future go?
Is this my future Lord, where did my future go?
Where did my future go-oh?
As the years pass, I try so hard to be,
Cool, calm and collective to a tee
But it getâs so hard sometimes Lord
I can hardly stand
You keep doinâ the best you know,
Iâll be doinâ the best that I can
You keep doinâ the best you know,
Iâll be doinâ the best that I can
Iâm doinâ the best that I can
Well if you wannaâ go see things youâve never seen
Why donât you take a trip on down to New Orleans
The party never stops, itâs sinkinâ right into the sea
It might be sunk in a hundred years,
Itâs a Mississippi jeopardy
It might be sunk in a hundred years,
Itâs a Mississippi jeopardy
Itâs a Mississippi jeopardy
When itâs time for you to leave, donât you hesitate
Get on a bus, a boat, or a plane and donât you be late
If you wannaâ go real real far away
Get on a plane that leaves tomorrow, or
Maybe just leaves today
Get on a plane that leaves tomorrow, or
Maybe just leave today, maybe just leave today
Maybe just leave today
Maybe just leave today
Maybe just leave today

Who's Runnin' Things
WRITTEN BY: TONY D. ANDERSON
Well here it comes, here it comes again
Donât think I can explain it, no canât explain it
Your freedomâs on the line, each and everyday
Price you choose to pay, yaâ gonnaâ have to name it
Time keeps on, time keeps on, time keeps on
Time keeps on, twistingâ away now, twistinâ away now
Your freedomâs on the line, each and everyday
The price yaâ choose to pay, youâre gonnaâ have to name it
It doesnât have to, all add up
I wannaâ know, whoâs been runninâ things roundâ here?
It doesnât have to, all add up
I wannaâ know, whoâs been runninâ things roundâ here?
Here it comes, here it comes again
Donât think I can explain it, no canât explain it
Your freedomâs on the line, each and everyday
Price you choose to pay, yaâ gonnaâ have to name it

7 A.M.
WRITTEN BY: TONY D. ANDERSON
Well ah yeah, Iâve been dreaminâ
Well ah yeah, Iâve been gone
Every morning just the same thing
Canât do the things that yaâ do
Every morning just the same thing
Canât do the things that yaâ do
No no nah no, seven oâclock road block
No no no no no, seven oâclock road block
Well I wouldnât worry
Thatâs when things happen usually
When youâre out there driftinâ
So aimlessly, all alone at sea
Unnnnn, when the dream goes on
Itâs keeps me away, most of the time
And if yaâ see it, yaâ better grab it quick
Yaâ can turn around, and itâs gone
Well sometimes I feel
The story of the musician is to
Try and try and try again
You got your principles
Iâve got mine
Convictions pushinâ us both through to some end

Hot Rod Vixen

Hot Rod Vixen
WRITTEN BY: TONY D. ANDERSON
You can tell by the way she walks,
Yeah, the way she talks, the girlsâ on fire
Yeah sheâs lookinâ fine, yeah sheâs lookinâ fine
Sheâs lookinâ fine, with her tight shirt on
Sweet sweet smells, and now I begin to worry
Sheâs sittinâ on my floor, a blazinâ billion dollar fury
Two steps more, and I will be done for
Yeah, Iâve been here before
Yeah, Iâve been here before
My legs canât seem to stand, Iâm glued to the floor
The thoughts are runninâ through my mind,
Runninâ through my mind, as she leans my way
What a view, my my
I canât think of anyplace, Iâd rather be right now
I can feel the power and suspense thatâs in the air
I canât think of any reason for me to move ever again
My back leaned up against the wall
Thinkinâ to myself, whatâs it, worth after all?
My fist clenched tight, outtaâ sight in a ball
Do I need her help in remindinâ me to recall
That home is a feelinâ warm, warm inside
You can tell by the way she stops
Yeah, sheâs hip and she hops at the drop of a dime
Yeah, sheâs lookinâ fine, yeah sheâs lookinâ fine
Sheâs lookinâ fine, with her tight shirt on
With the warmth of her flame,
I sure wouldnât wannaâ feel her freeze
Her stallionsâ in the shed, this ponysâ on bended knees
She dressed up like a hot rod
In place to zoom down the track
I know I know better, hot rod vixen
Iâll probably call yaâ back
I know I know better, hot rod vixen
Iâll probably call yaâ back

Across The Nation

Across The Nation
WRITTEN BY: TONY D. ANDERSON
Well I never had any one destination
Livinâ everywhere across this nation
North to South, East to West
I canât really say any one place has been the best
I like to go where itâs cold, when itâs warm
I like to go where itâs warm, when itâs cold
Well after L.A. got to be too much of a riot
I went to the woods in Oregon for peace and quiet
Where everything just grows and grows
It rains all the time, and sometimes it snows
I met a real nice girl there, she showed me around
I let her break my heart, she nearly broke me down
Then it was from Manhattan Beach to Union Station
To Austin, Texas, a whole nutherâ location
To New Orleans, Louisiana
Let me tell ya, it was no L.A.
I kept a low profile there, and then I slipped away
Up North near the Finger Lakes
Yeah, I slipped away
After I ran outtaâ states East to go
I went down under, yeah down below
Australia, had myself a real good look around
I grabbed hold oâ my dreams, I turned around
I wound up back in old L.A. in Hollywood
Oh what a town

Ready To Go
WRITTEN BY: TONY D. ANDERSON
Well the time has come, itâs time again
To get back on that road, that never ends
And youâll know, when itâs time to go
Youâve got one more road trip, and another show
If this song keeps on movinâ everything âill be alright
Cuzâ todaysâ all I have got tonight
To be livinâ in the moment, when everything
Yeah everything, yeah everything seems, just right
Well Iâve met a lot of people, I donât mean to boast
But it seems the people with the least
Are the oneâs that wannaâ give the most
They wannaâ give it all, they wannaâ give it up
They insist on fillinâ up my over-flowinâ cup
I say, â Hey, is there anything I can do? â
They say, â No man, weâre just glad youâre here passinâ thorughâ
Sendinâ shivers down my spine,
you know, the way good musicâs supposed to do
And I know, one way or another,
Everything keeps workinâ out,
Iâll keep on lookinâ out
Iâll keep my boots, close to my bed
Where I lay me down to sleep, where I rest my head
I will be, ready, to go
I will be, ready
I will be ready
I will be ready to go

Bombs Away

Bombs Away
WRITTEN BY: TONY D. ANDERSON
Down to the discount the begginâ man did say
As the bottle touched his lips, he pushed the past far away
Gone like a spider, like a little jet fighter
He just aimed for the sky, said, â Bombs Away â
Like salty candy sang Leon Russell
Breakinâ free from the chains of the 9 to 5 hustle
I stop the rip-off, every chance that I can take
Iâm leavinâ now, do you think youâve had enough?
Think you got the nerve, to call my bluff?
Think youâve been licked, do you know what life is for?
Do you know that youâve been lied to?
You know thereâs so much more in store
Well I hit the bottle, but the bottle hit back
You think itâs whiskey to the rescue
Till you wind up down the wrong track
Break the mold, you just might meet the
Luxury of time, without suffering
Like one big commercial, corporations for Babylon
Led filled shoes, makes it hard for you to travel on
Wait for liberation, you know, justice begs it
You just hope that when it comes
It doesnât cue your final exit
Iâm leavinâ now, do you think youâve had enough?
Think you got the nerve, to call my bluff?
Think youâve been licked, do you know what life is for?
Do you know that youâve been lied to?
You know thereâs so much more in store

Dontcha' Fight The Feelin'
WRITTEN BY: TONY D. ANDERSON
Iâve been witness to some miracles
Some heart felt changes, only time will tell
The truth and facts lie in a place,
No man or money can erase away
Iâve heard it said before that bliss is hard to resist
Some certain motivation, serves a simple twist
When you step into the great unknown
Your dreams can lead yaâ far from home, far away
2 A.M. not drunk and wishinâ on a star
At 2 A.M. yaâ know who your real friends are
No need to struggle, when youâre wearinâ a true face
Donât fight the feelings, when you know
Youâre in the wrong place
Know youâre in the wrong place
Dontchaâ fight the feelinsâ
Iâve been fired and Iâve been true
Iâve been busted, Iâve been blue
I ainât got no money, but Iâm all time
You can keep whatâs yours and have
Whatâs mine, any day
2 A.M. not drunk and wishinâ on a star
At 2 A.M. yaâ know who your real friends are
No need to struggle, when youâre wearinâ a true face
Donât fight the feelings, when you know
Youâre in the wrong place
Know youâre in the wrong place
Dontchaâ fight the feelinsâ
I hope what yaâ do, helps find your will to survive
Livinâ in the momentsâ what makes me feel alive
People search and try to buy peace of mind
Less is more, more often times youâll find
along the way
2 A.M. not drunk and wishinâ on a star
At 2 A.M. yaâ know who your real friends are
No need to struggle, when youâre wearinâ a true face
Donât fight the feelings, when you know
Youâre in the wrong place
Know youâre in the wrong place
Dontchaâ fight the feelinsâ

Partiendo
WRITTEN BY: TONY D. ANDERSON
Gottaâ stand for somethinâ
Donât worry baby
Everyone has got to decide
Everyone wants to learn
To touch the sky
Canât do it all on your own now baby
Yaâ tried and yaâ stumbled and cried
You picked up the pieces
And yaâ hid inside
I been around
I took it down
I tell my one true love
That I wonât be around for her sufferinâ
I hope she understands
I threw the game before it drove me insane
I told my one sweet love
No oneâs to blame
When youâre sufferinâ
Yaâ gotta leave sometimes
While you still can
I been around
I took it down
I tell my one true love
That I wonât be around for her sufferinâ
I hope she understands
I threw the game before it drove me insane
I told my one sweet love
No oneâs to blame
When youâre sufferinâ
Yaâ gotta leave sometimes
While you still can
Every morning I wake up to
The sounds of glory
So thankful I could cry
So little time before
We all die
Every life canât help but
Tell itâs own story
Some happy far too many so sad
Donât be another victim
Better grab your glad rags
I been around
I took it down
I told my one sweet love
That I wonât be around for her sufferinâ
I hope she understands
I threw the game before it drove me insane
I told my one true love
That I wonât be around for her sufferinâ
Yaâ gotta leave sometimes
While you still can
I been around
I took it down
I tell my one true love
That I wonât be around for her sufferinâ
I hope she understands
I threw the game before it drove me insane
I told my one sweet love
No oneâs to blame
When youâre sufferinâ
Yaâ gotta leave sometimes
While you still can
