Wired For Progress

WRITTEN BY: TONY D. ANDERSON

Here’s a little song my friend
True blue to the highways’ end
Do whatcha’ do, you never need to pretend
Feels so right you know ya’ just might, do it again

They’ll be days, things move so slow
Got my crash helmet on for life
Got a great big heart, no wife
No one’s gonna’ accuse me of not takin’ chances
Wired for progress, army of one
When you’re broke for too long, it’s no fun

Squirmed around, but ya’ held me tight
Ya’ brought me right back home, like a lost satellite
I was headed for a crash course on another day
Well ya’ know you knock me right outta’ my way
A rollin’ stone gathers’ no moss
But a rollin’ pin shows who’s boss
Junkie uncle finally lost
No one’s gonna’ accuse me of not takin’ chances
Wired for progress, army of one
When you’re broke for too long, it’s no fun
