Across The Nation
WRITTEN BY: TONY D. ANDERSON
Well I never had any one destination
Livinâ everywhere across this nation
North to South, East to West
I canât really say any one place has been the best
I like to go where itâs cold, when itâs warm
I like to go where itâs warm, when itâs cold
Well after L.A. got to be too much of a riot
I went to the woods in Oregon for peace and quiet
Where everything just grows and grows
It rains all the time, and sometimes it snows
I met a real nice girl there, she showed me around
I let her break my heart, she nearly broke me down
Then it was from Manhattan Beach to Union Station
To Austin, Texas, a whole nutherâ location
To New Orleans, Louisiana
Let me tell ya, it was no L.A.
I kept a low profile there, and then I slipped away
Up North near the Finger Lakes
Yeah, I slipped away
After I ran outtaâ states East to go
I went down under, yeah down below
Australia, had myself a real good look around
I grabbed hold oâ my dreams, I turned around
I wound up back in old L.A. in Hollywood
Oh what a town

Run Run Round With Me
WRITTEN BY: TONY D. ANDERSON
Run run round in circles, run run round with me
Run run faster now, you know it makes me dizzy
You know what it does to me
Feel like fallinâ down, feel like rain
Tongue is tied and twisted, brain canât explain
Well I canât say to where it is that Iâm goinâ to
All Iâm hopinâ forsâ another side, to make it through
You push on and Iâll pull back
Youâll be gone and Iâll relax
ah - aha- ah - aha - ah
ah - aha- ah - aha - ah
ah - aha- ah - aha - ah
ah - aha- ah - aha - ah
Donât yaâ fret, donât yaâ wine
Suns gonnaâ set and shine
ah - ah - a - ah - ah
ah - ah - a - ah - ah
ah - ah - a - ah - ah
ah - ah - a - ah - a - ah

Being Different Is Easy
WRITTEN BY: TONY D. ANDERSON
Singinâ in conversationsâ, talkinâ in songsâ itâs all the same
Beinâ different is easy, when everybodyâs so much the same
Cuzâ theyâre all just here to remind us
Like all the people weâve known before
Yes, theyâre all just here to remind us
From another time, from somewhere before
Have you heard about these balls of water,
Hittinâ the Earthâs atmosphere from outer-space,
Space, space, space?
Theyâre producing O3, thatâs ozone, we managed
Somehow to erase, somehow to erase
If you wannaâ make this world a better place,
Why donât yaâ start with yourself
If you really wannaâ make this world a better place
Get things straight at home first with yourself
Iâve heard it said about this life,
Be it the truth or be it a lie
Boutâ how everything yaâ put out comes back to yaâ
Ten fold when yaâ die, ten fold when yaâ die
What if this ozoneâs a gift, help sent from a more intelligent life?
What if everything thatâs happeninâs, exactly
As it should be in your life?
As it should be in your life

Mississippi Jeopardy
WRITTEN BY: TONY D. ANDERSON
Lord Lord tell me, where this road goes on?
Is this my destiny Lord, where did I go wrong?
Iâm searchinâ high, sometimes Iâm searchinâ low
Is this my future Lord, where did my future go?
Is this my future Lord, where did my future go?
Where did my future go-oh?
As the years pass, I try so hard to be,
Cool, calm and collective to a tee
But it getâs so hard sometimes Lord
I can hardly stand
You keep doinâ the best you know,
Iâll be doinâ the best that I can
You keep doinâ the best you know,
Iâll be doinâ the best that I can
Iâm doinâ the best that I can
Well if you wannaâ go see things youâve never seen
Why donât you take a trip on down to New Orleans
The party never stops, itâs sinkinâ right into the sea
It might be sunk in a hundred years,
Itâs a Mississippi jeopardy
It might be sunk in a hundred years,
Itâs a Mississippi jeopardy
Itâs a Mississippi jeopardy
When itâs time for you to leave, donât you hesitate
Get on a bus, a boat, or a plane and donât you be late
If you wannaâ go real real far away
Get on a plane that leaves tomorrow, or
Maybe just leaves today
Get on a plane that leaves tomorrow, or
Maybe just leave today, maybe just leave today
Maybe just leave today
Maybe just leave today
Maybe just leave today

Apricot Moonshine / Las Vegas Hash
WRITTEN BY: TONY D. ANDERSON
Drinkinâ apricot moonshine, smokinâ Las Vegas hash
I chased it down and then I laid around
Then I ran all out of cash
Been around many towns
Itâs changed me now, Iâm still havinâ a blast
In the blink of an eye, from low to high
It can all change so fast
Itâs a mass illusion, Iâm not too distracted to see
They say, â Time is money â
But time means so much more than that to me
Time means so much more than that to me
Time means so much more than that to me
Youâve got nothinâ to lose, youâve even lost all fear
Like an orphan on the run, baby with a pop gun
Drag around a pound of sugar, like a pioneer
Followed my bliss, both far and near
Yaâ canât outrun the moment, ya can always just disappear
Itâs a mass illusion, Iâm not too distracted to see
They say that, time is money
But time means so much more than that to me
Time means so much more than that to me
Time means so much more than that to me
Enjoyinâ the things money canât buy
Canât take away, what no one can ever own
Tell it like it is
Iâve got my dreams to keep me warm and satisfied
When Iâm alone
Itâs a mass illusion, Iâm not too distracted to see
They say, â Time is money â
But time means so much more than that to me
Time means so much more than that to me
Time means so much more than that to me

Who's Runnin' Things
WRITTEN BY: TONY D. ANDERSON
Well here it comes, here it comes again
Donât think I can explain it, no canât explain it
Your freedomâs on the line, each and everyday
Price you choose to pay, yaâ gonnaâ have to name it
Time keeps on, time keeps on, time keeps on
Time keeps on, twistingâ away now, twistinâ away now
Your freedomâs on the line, each and everyday
The price yaâ choose to pay, youâre gonnaâ have to name it
It doesnât have to, all add up
I wannaâ know, whoâs been runninâ things roundâ here?
It doesnât have to, all add up
I wannaâ know, whoâs been runninâ things roundâ here?
Here it comes, here it comes again
Donât think I can explain it, no canât explain it
Your freedomâs on the line, each and everyday
Price you choose to pay, yaâ gonnaâ have to name it

Voice Inside Me
WRITTEN BY: TONY D. ANDERSON
On my way, yeah Iâm on my way
I just keep on listeninâ to, listeninâ to
That voice inside me
Up and down, donât get knocked down
If thereâs no one, no one, beside you
Donât expect it, yet donât neglect it
When love tries to ride through, itâs gonnaâ get to you
I just try to get a long and keep writinâ the best songs
I can, I can
I donât dwell on what is not, all the things that I havenât got
I salute all those who have lent me a helpinâ hand
Thereâs so few who truly understand
Needinâ the support the most in the beginninâ
When youâre trying to make a stand
I sing this song for all the angels
Touchinâ down just long enough
out there on the road
Spreading their loving touching graces
Touchinâ all the searchinâ tired weary souls
All those, whose homes are just a feelinâ
Surviving on only what lies in front of them
When the dark uncertain night comes callinâ
Youâd be surprised, just who appears
And who wants to be your friend
Here comes the rain, here comes the rain
I just keep on smilinâ though
Thatâs what makes, you and me and the flowers
Grow - ow - ow - ow -ow -ow -ow
I donât drive but I keep my hands wrapped loosely
Roundâ the steering wheel of the road Iâm travelinâ
Down in life
Iâve ran into more than just one gypsy caravan
That has helped to ease the strife
I just try to get a long and keep writinâ the best songs, I can
I donât dwell on what is not, all the things that I havenât got
I salute all those who have lent me a helpinâ hand
Thereâs so few who truly understand
Needinâ the support the most in the beginninâ
When youâre trying to make a stand
I sing this song for all the angels
Touchinâ down just long enough
out there on the road
Spreading their loving touching graces
Touchinâ all the searchinâ tired weary souls
All those, whose homes are just a feelinâ
Surviving on only what lies in front of them

Ready To Go
WRITTEN BY: TONY D. ANDERSON
Well the time has come, itâs time again
To get back on that road, that never ends
And youâll know, when itâs time to go
Youâve got one more road trip, and another show
If this song keeps on movinâ everything âill be alright
Cuzâ todaysâ all I have got tonight
To be livinâ in the moment, when everything
Yeah everything, yeah everything seems, just right
Well Iâve met a lot of people, I donât mean to boast
But it seems the people with the least
Are the oneâs that wannaâ give the most
They wannaâ give it all, they wannaâ give it up
They insist on fillinâ up my over-flowinâ cup
I say, â Hey, is there anything I can do? â
They say, â No man, weâre just glad youâre here passinâ thorughâ
Sendinâ shivers down my spine,
you know, the way good musicâs supposed to do
And I know, one way or another,
Everything keeps workinâ out,
Iâll keep on lookinâ out
Iâll keep my boots, close to my bed
Where I lay me down to sleep, where I rest my head
I will be, ready, to go
I will be, ready
I will be ready
I will be ready to go

Dare To Love
WRITTEN BY: TONY D. ANDERSON
Well Iâd say it again, if it would bring yaâ home
Youâre puttinâ me down, gettinâ back out on your own
Weâve all heard it before she says, â Canât we just be friends? â
Deep in my heart, I think about it for a minute, I say,
â Well I guess it all depends â
Thanks a lot, you made me feel so good, but now Iâm not so hot, yeah
Thanks a lot, you made me feel so good, but now Iâm not so hot, yeah
Thanks a lot, you made me feel so good, but now Iâm not so, not so hot
Wish I could tell yaâ whats gotten into me
Trippinâ over myself left and right today
Wish I could tell yaâ that itâs funny
But thereâs no use, no point tryinâ to explain
Iâm just playinâ it back to myself again, like ridinâ around on the A train
Thanks a lot, you made me feel so good, but now Iâm not so hot, yeah
Thanks a lot, you made me feel so good, but now Iâm not so hot, yeah
Thanks a lot, you made me feel so good, but now Iâm not so, not so hot
And, Iâll remember you for who you are,
Iâm the one that took it too far
And, even a fool knows itâs true,
You gottaâ quit, when you want someone
They donât want you
Thanks a lot, you made me feel so good, but now Iâm not so hot, yeah
Thanks a lot, you made me feel so good, but now Iâm not so hot, yeah
Thanks a lot, you made me feel so good, but now Iâm not so, not so hot
Well Iâll see you aroundâ in this, spin-cycle town
Youâll be acting cute on your cell phone
Iâll be out, in the corner, all alone
Thatâs fine with me, thatâs where Iâd wannaâ be
Probably be better off there anyway, than lettinâ you, get the best of me
Thanks a lot, you made me feel so good, but now Iâm not so hot, yeah
Thanks a lot, you made me feel so good, but now Iâm not so hot, yeah
Thanks a lot, you made me feel so good, but now Iâm not so, not so hot

Country Girl Needs
WRITTEN BY: TONY D. ANDERSON
Well the way she loves me, would I ever wannaâ leave?
Sheâs tight and complete, she does so many good deeds
Sheâs got the table, sheâs got the salt
Her green lightsâ flashinâ and Iâm not gonnaâ halt
Iâm almost cryinâ ainât that a shame?
Sheâs heatinâ up that red hot flame
She says, â Well yes, Iâm from the country
And I like to do, the kinds of things that
Country girls do
I make some butter, after I milk some cows
I drive the tractor in the fields, that, I like to plow â
She says, â If you wannaâ harvest, better
Mmm, plant some seeds â
Sheâll tell you all about what a country girl needs
When I awoke in the barn
In a bed of straw and hay
I caught a look from the chickenâs eyes
that said, â You really donât wannaâ stay
Head on straight out to the highway
Through that field of wheat â
I scratched a goat under the chin
As I hopped to my feet
I told my farm girl love that â Iâd like to stay
But thereâs too much I must see â
She said, â When youâre ready for the love
Of a country girl, you know where to find me â

There You Go Again
WRITTEN BY: TONY D. ANDERSON
Things were lookinâ up, the sky was jet blue
I couldnât stop thinkinâ or talkinâ boutâ you
Life is short, put your worries aside
Take your time and enjoy the ride
Well ya wannaâ be cool, well understand
Sometimes things donât work out like ya planned
But ya fight it, ya do it
Do you do what they tell ya?
Recycled dreams and the visions they sell ya
Everybody wants to be free
Itâs not so hard and itâs so easy to see
That everybody, I mean everybody wants to be free
Iâve got my own revolutions
The streets are my institutions
One of these days when we free the solutions
Weâll get it right
And with the way that the road goes on and on
Thereâs no place that can keep yaâ
Like it feels when youâve stayed some place too long
Think you can pay the price, think you can get it for a song?
Keep talkinâ straight, donât kid yourself and yaâ gottaâ stay head strong
Well I donât even know how I ever got through
Or how I even ever started talkinâ to you
Every place I go, your face is around
Baby, your beauty haunts me, like a lonesome town
Maybe a little love sick, you know how it can be scary
Try to remind myself of how temporary
Everything in life can be so fragile and delicate
Some people cause pain, just for the hell of it
Everybody wants to be free
Itâs not so hard and itâs so easy to see
That everybody, I mean everybody wants to be free
Iâve got my own revolutions
The streets are my institutions
One of these days when we free, the solutions
Weâll get it right, oh god I hope we get it right
